FAQ
-
With the wedding date quickly approaching, we ask that you RSVP once you receive your formal invitation in the mail.
However, you can RSVP up until March 1.
-
No. While we adore your kids, we will not be able to accommodate any children outside of our immediate family. Both the ceremony and reception will be an adults-only celebration.
We hope this will not deter you from attending, but we understand if so. Please consider this as you are RSVPing.
-
Yes, the attire for our wedding is garden formal.
Women Dress-Code
Classy, flowy midi or maxi dresses that fall at or past the knee.
Please note that we will be getting married outdoors in a garden. Block heels, wedges, flats, or similar shoes are recommended over stilettos or pointed heels, but you are more than welcome to wear any shoes you feel go best with your dress.
Wedding colors are sage green and soft blush pink. You are more than welcome to coordinate your dress with the wedding colors, but you do not have to. Feel free to wear any color you like, except for white or ivory.
Men Dress-Code
A suit, sports coat, or blazer is required.
A tie is optional. But bonus points if you do wear one (and even more if it has a floral pattern).
Absolutely no jeans.

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 P.M. Please plan to arrive at least 15-20 minutes early to account for parking, find a seat, and get situated.
-
Yes, each guest can bring one plus one. If you are bringing a plus one, please indicate this when RSVPing. Failure to do so will result in your date not having a seat or plated dinner.
-
We are not offering a hotel room block. Our venue is located in the heart of Nashville, with plenty of hotels, Air BnBs, and VRBOs in the area. We are leaving it up to our guests on where they choose to stay while visiting.
We are happy to recommend areas to stay as well! Just let us know.
-
Yes, we will be doing our ceremony in the garden at The Cordelle. Cocktail hour will also take place outdoors before moving inside for dinner.
-
Yes, there is free street parking on site at The Cordelle.
Street parking is first come/first serve and spots can fill up quickly. Please consider arriving early or taking a ride-share to avoid any parking headaches.
-
Transportation is not provided. Our venue is conveniently located in downtown Nashville, making it easy to access via ride-sharing and local taxis. Free street parking is also available onsite if you prefer to drive.
-
Our reception will take place at the same location as our ceremony, so no need to travel anywhere!

While we can’t predict the exact weather, April in Nashville typically brings mild spring temperatures. On average, you can expect highs around the mid 60s°F / low 70s°F – and lows in the mid 40s°F. We should’t be outside long, but it’s always a good idea to bring a light jacket or sweater, just in case.
We’ll keep an eye on the forecast and update you closer to the date!
